Silver Guilloché pattern earrings 6 by tJL

Silver stud earrings cut from a recycled vintage clock. The back story...

CLOCK 4. Originally a desk clock fully hallmarked in Birmingham 1949, silversmith A. Buckley Ltd. who was established in 1923 Albion Street. Known for producing fine silverware and watch cases, the company was part of Birmingham’s rich tradition of silversmithing. It gained recognition for its quality craftsmanship during the early 20th century. When I salvaged it, it was without its clock, ready to be melted. The Guilloché pattern was made with a Straight-line Engine lathe. The geometric ornate surface gave birth to these earrings and more pieces.
